Salesforce Solutions Architect and Integration Specialist

Location: 100% Remote, EST or CST. Local candidates only

 

The Salesforce Solutions Architect and Integration Specialist role will be joining the Salesforce development team to maintain and support the existing application. A strong technical understanding of the Salesforce platform and integration technologies along with excellent communication and analytic skills are required.

Tasks: 

  • Design technical solutions for new and existing Salesforce development projects and integrations with third-party software. 
  • Ensure design decisions balance factors along multiple axis including cost of development, cost of maintenance, time to market, code reusability, and system scalability. 
  • Document technical solutions and keep technical documentation up to date. 
  • Conduct code reviews and code scans to maintain a healthy and secure environment. 
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with numerous external systems.  

Expected Deliverables 

  1. Documentation in JIRA/Confluence of all technical designs. 
  1. Development of software solutions and integrations using the technologies outlined. 

Qualifications 

  • 6+ years’ experience architecting and developing Salesforce/force.com solutions

  • Certified Salesforce Application, System and/or Technical Architect with Trailhead Badges/Super Badges 

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills to engage with business subject matter experts to solve business needs and resolve issues. 

  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce integration techniques using APIs, Enterprise WSDL, WebServices, JSON and OAuth.  

  • Experience with other languages such as .Net C#, Java, or others for use with system integrations 

  • Outstanding knowledge of the Salesforce Platform and development strategies using Apex, Flows, Lightning and other platform technologies. 

  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, permission set groups, sharing rules) 

  • Ability to prioritize workstreams simultaneously and deliver results for a fast-paced programs. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to analyze requirements and documents effectively. 

  • Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities. 

  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements. 

  • Great resourcefulness and an instinct for surfacing value and pragmatic solutions  

  • Consistently maintains composure and professionalism.  

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud and/or Call Center is a plus. 

  • Experience with JIRA is a plus.
