Summary:

Our client, a leading mortgage lender with a strong presence in the Fort Lauderdale market, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Producing Branch Manager to lead one of their top-performing branches. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record in mortgage origination, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to driving growth and mentoring a team of Mortgage Loan Originators.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of 5+ Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs).
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting productivity and high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Oversee branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations.
• Mortgage Origination:
  • Originate mortgages to contribute directly to branch volume and serve as a producing leader for the team.
  • Maintain a strong personal pipeline and consistently meet or exceed individual production goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, changes in regulations, and new mortgage products.
• Business Development and Growth:
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the branch's market share and increase profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, real estate agents, builders, and other industry professionals.
  • Actively participate in networking events and community activities to promote the branch and generate leads.
• Recruitment and Training:
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new MLOs, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to succeed.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to help team members develop their skills and achieve their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a successful Mortgage Loan Originator with a proven track record of exceeding production goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a mortgage lending environment, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, processes, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners.
  • Active NMLS license.
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Experience managing a team of MLOs in a high-volume branch.
  • Existing network of referral partners in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Estimated OTE: $150,000 - $250,000+
  • Competitive base salary (up to $60,000 per year, depending on experience).
• Lucrative commission structure based on personal loan production.
• Override on the production of other MLOs in the branch.
