Overview:
We are seeking an early- to mid‑career Power Platform & Power BI Developer to help a growing organization automate manual processes and turn data into usable insights using Microsoft 365 tools. You will work on-site in Brentwood, partnering directly with business and IT leaders to design automations, build dashboards, and experiment with new AI capabilities in the Microsoft ecosystem.
This is a great fit for someone who has already built real Power BI dashboards or Power Automate flows (or both) and wants to deepen their skills across the full Microsoft 365 and Power Platform stack.
Candidates must currently live in Middle Tennessee and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain Power Automate cloud flows that streamline repetitive business processes (approvals, notifications, data syncs, etc.).
• Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Connect and integrate data from SharePoint Online, Teams, Excel, and other Microsoft 365 sources; occasionally use SQL or other cloud data sources.
• Meet with internal users to understand their workflows and translate them into practical automation and reporting solutions.
• Improve, refactor, and troubleshoot existing Power Automate flows and Power BI reports.
• Collaborate with IT leadership on new use cases involving Microsoft Copilot, AI, and cloud services, and help prototype solutions using those tools.
Required Qualifications:
• 1–3+ years of hands-on experience with at least one of the following:
– Building production Power Automate flows, or
– Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards/reports.
• Experience working within Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
• Comfort working directly with business users to gather requirements and iterate.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in both data and workflows.
• Ability to work on site in Brentwood, TN five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with both Power Automate and Power BI, even if one is stronger.
• Basic SQL skills (e.g., writing simple queries, joins, and filters).
• Exposure to Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Automation) or the broader Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents).
• Familiarity or hands-on experimentation with Microsoft Copilot, AI features in Microsoft 365, or other AI-powered automation tools.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Power BI, or Azure).
Compensation and Employment Details:
• Target salary range: 95,000 – 115,000 depending on experience and demonstrated Power Platform / Power BI skills.
• Contract-to-hire role with the intention to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.
• On-site only in Brentwood, TN (no remote, hybrid, relocation, or visa sponsorship options at this time).
