About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (low senior level) with 5–8 years of experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating closely with leadership, and working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

The engineer will help design, build, and maintain a cloud-based SaaS platform using the Microsoft stack. This is not a narrow corporate role. We are looking for someone who can think through problems, adapt to change, and contribute across the system.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET

- Develop and optimize SQL-based data layers

- Build and support cloud infrastructure and services in Azure

- Collaborate on system architecture and technical decisions

- Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and performance

- Participate in technical planning and problem exploration

- Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Use modern development workflows, including AI-assisted coding tools

 

Required Qualifications:

- 5–8 years of professional software development experience

- Strong experience with C#, .NET, and SQL

- Experience supporting cloud-based applications (Azure preferred)

- Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills

- Comfortable working in a small, fast-growing team environment

 

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

- Front-end experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred, not required)

- Experience with event-driven or distributed systems

- SaaS product experience

- Startup or entrepreneurial background

- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)

 

Compensation:

- Base salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 (DOE)
