Position Overview: We are seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) with a strong background in Security Operations Center (SOC) management. This role is designed for someone who can bridge the gap between clients and technical teams driving a world-class client experience while leveraging deep SOC knowledge to deliver measurable value. The TAM will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they maximize the value of client’s managed security services while providing insights, recommendations, and guidance on SOC operations, security posture, and incident response.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned client(s).
Build strong, trusted relationships with client executives, CISOs, and security leaders.
Proactively communicate SOC performance, threat trends, and risk posture through regular business reviews and ad-hoc strategy sessions.
Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and align SOC capabilities accordingly.
Leverage hands-on knowledge of SOC operations to translate technical findings into actionable business insights for clients.
Act as a liaison between the SOC, engineering, and clients to ensure effective resolution of complex security incidents.
Partner with Security Engineers, and Sales teams to ensure smooth service delivery and high client satisfaction.
Provide feedback to delivery teams to improve SOC processes, tools, and playbooks.
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities based on client needs and emerging security gaps.
Qualifications:
Nice to have-professional designations such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
5+ years of experience in SOC management, or security advisory capacity.
Experience engaging directly with C-level stakeholders in a consultative or advisory capacity.
Demonstrated expertise in managing, configuring, and optimizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
Exceptional leadership skills and analytical abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
