Position Overview
As a Principal Solutions Architect, Network you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our Network strategy. You will be responsible for consulting with customers to understand their unique Network needs, designing and developing innovative Network solutions that align with their business.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive network architecture that addresses the customer's risk profile and compliance requirements.
Design and implement network controls, policies, and procedures to protect the customer's systems, data, and infrastructure.
Collaborate with sales teams and clients to gather technical requirements and translate them into scalable and secure network architecture designs.
Develop proposals, statements of work and responses to RFPs that clearly articulate Arctiq’s abilities to meet our customer’s needs.
Conduct network assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for optimization, risk reduction, and performance improvement.
Recommend and validate solutions that align with industry best practices, compliance standards, and customer-specific security policies.
Present proposed network solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
Work with delivery and implementation teams to ensure seamless transition from design to deployment, providing support throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
Technical Leadership
Mentor and develop junior pre-sales professionals.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, network threats, and vendor offerings.
Contribute to the development of technology related thought leadership and best practices.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in security architecture, design, and implementation.
Proven track record of consulting with customers to solve their networking needs.
Deep understanding of networking concepts, principles, and best practices.
Strong technical skills, including knowledge of networking, systems administration, and programming.
Experience with a variety of security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cloud security controls, identity and access management, etc).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud security and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with Cisco, Dell, Juniper, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, Meraki and other leading network technologies.
Experience with Network Automation and Infrastructure as Code.
