Tier Two Network/Field Technician (Nashville, TN) - Contract to Hire
CruiTek is seeking a highly motivated Tier Two Network/Field Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is crucial for supporting new client onboarding through on-site assessments and technical support. You will play a key part in evaluating client infrastructure and ensuring a smooth transition to managed services.

Note:
This is a contract-to-hire position with a potential transition to a full-time role after a successful 90-day contract period.
Upon full-time conversion, you will receive 2 weeks of PTO and 2 floating holidays to start, with a comprehensive benefits package outlined in a separate guide.
Responsibilities:
Travel to client locations in the Nashville, TN area (as needed).
Conduct thorough network assessments, including hardware inventory, configuration review, and security posture evaluation.
Document findings and recommendations for network optimization and integration with the client's managed services.
Assist with initial network configuration and device setup as needed.
Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all activities performed.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain various hardware and software systems, including (but not limited to): network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, patch panels, fiber), access points, projectors, doc cams, and charging carts.
Diagnose minor A/V issues such as HDMI, projectors, and doc cams.
Qualifications:
4-5 years of experience in a technical support or field technician role.
Technical knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Macs, PCs, and Chromebooks.
Ability to identify network hardware, including switches, racks, firewalls, patch panels, and fiber.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
Experience with network troubleshooting methodologies.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive and customer-service oriented.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for occasional travel).
