Job Description (Freelance) - PHP Website Updater (Remote)

About the Project:

A company in the healthcare sector is seeking a skilled and experienced PHP developer to provide ongoing updates and maintenance for their existing web application. This is a remote freelance position with the potential for long-term collaboration. The application is used for managing medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and implement website updates based on client requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing PHP codebase.
• Ensure website functionality, performance, and responsiveness across various devices.
• Collaborate effectively with the client to understand needs and priorities.
• Adhere to best practices for secure and maintainable code.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in PHP and related technologies (e.g., frameworks, databases).
• Experience with website development and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.  
• Experience with applications related to inventory management or medical services is a plus.

Additional Information:

• This is a freelance (1099) position.
• The project is expected to be long-term, but with a potentially variable workload.
• Remote work is preferred.
